Connections are all about helping you grow in your relationship with God and connecting you to the community of faith here at Converge. Whether you are new to church or have been a Christian for years, we all can take the next step in our faith. The best place to get started is Starting Point. This will help you learn about Converge and how you can get involved!
OVERVIEW
Connection is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. We all need each other and that’s why we have Small Groups, Serve Days, and our Serve Team. Just like most things, you won’t know until you try, so find a group, and be part of a team. We are all truly better together and community is where you grow the most.
Proverbs 27:17 | As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 | Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Genesis 2:18 | The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Every Journey has a starting point and your journey with God is no different. The best place to start to discover the life change God wants for you is through our Starting Point Class. At Starting Point you will hear the story of Converge and what we are all about, as well as what salvation is, Christian living, and what it means to be a member at Converge. If you’re new to Converge, or haven’t taken the class yet, contact us to sign up for the next class.
The Serve Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their identity - who God created them to be - and are actively serving Him. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on one of our Guest Services team, to leading families to Jesus by serving in our Converge Children's Ministry, to crafting an engaging experience with our Production Team, to building bridges across our city by leading a Small Group or stepping out into our community on an Outreach Team.
As Converge grows, it could become easy to slip in and slip out each weekend and never connect with the people or the heart of our church. Life is not meant to be lived alone and our small groups are designed to help make a large church feel small. We believe life change happens more frequently in the circles of small groups than in the rows of our weekend services.
